A quieter kind of website.

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Optional first-party website counts are off by default and work without visitor or device IDs. Use the “Optional website counts” control below each page to turn counts on or off. The site works and the hop toy plays with counts off. We store your choice in browser local storage as dewskip-counts-v1 for 30 days after you choose; it contains only on/off and an expiry time, not an identifier or browsing history. If storage is blocked, the choice applies to this page only. Clearing site storage returns counts to off. Recognised Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep counts off.

When enabled, counters add allowed page/section views, hop starts/cancellations/finished animations, support/press/contact link clicks, and broad load/error categories into daily totals. No raw event history is kept. Totals use a rolling 90-day UTC window. Older dates are removed by the daily WordPress cleanup when scheduled tasks run, and before any new count or report. These counts only help us improve this website; they are not used for advertising or profiles. Read Privacy for the distinction from hosting/security logs.

The public pages do not require an account. WordPress may use necessary cookies for administrator sign-in; these are not marketing cookies.

Cloudflare may use necessary security cookies when it checks or challenges a request. The exact cookies depend on the protection applied. These are used to keep the website available and prevent abuse. See Cloudflare’s cookie information.

Forest audio is off by default and starts only after you choose it. It pauses when you leave the page. Your sound choice is not stored between visits. The website follows your device’s reduced-motion preference.
